22 Chestnut Place

Long Beach, CA. 90802

On Friday, August 23, 2024 Outer Limits Tattoo and Museum will host an open house, inviting the community to learn more about Long Beach’s tattoo history and the importance of having a tattoo art museum, located in Long Beach, CA.

Outer Limits shop owner Kari Barba is a founding board member of the Tattoo Heritage Project, a 501(c)(3)  nonprofit raising funds and awareness to create the first national tattoo art museum, Tattoo Heritage Museum.

Most Long Beach natives know the tales of The Pike, a popular amusement park established in 1902. Some know the Pike at one time had the highest concentration of tattoo artists of any port city in the United States. Few understand the significance of what this means in terms of the influence of the American style of tattooing, and how Long Beach has helped the style travel around the world.

Tattoo Heritage Project was formed by tattoo legend, Good Time Charlie, who worked at The Pike in the early 70’s, and spent much time in the tattoo scene there from the late 1950s to 1975. In 2020, he was approached by three staff members from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles to lead the charge in establishing a museum dedicated to the art of tattooing.

Kari and Charlie, along with co-founding board members Jack Rudy, Chuey Quintanar, Corey Miller and JD Crowe, are championing the idea of establishing this museum throughout the tattoo community. They are also working towards that goal by engaging the city of Long Beach and other Long Beach based partnerships in conversation as to how to achieve this goal.

Recently joining THP, new board members include JC Chelser, Juan Puente, Antonio Mejia, Sam Belkin, Carlos Torres, Hanky Panky, and Kevin Johnson

Many tattooers have responded and shown support by throwing fundraisers, most recently Happy Sundays and Fear City Tattoo in Long Beach, CA., on August 24 and 25, 2024. Fear City Tattoo will be hosting a two day tattoo walk in event. Various artists gather together for two days of tattooing for the cause. 50% of all income from tattooing will be donated to the Tattoo Heritage Project.

Join us on this special evening. Docents will be on hand to share Long Beach tattoo history, and a community’s effort to build the city’s tattoo art museum.

  • My husband and I lost $1.1m worth of Bitcoins to a fake cryptocurrency investment platform. A few months back, we saw an opportunity to invest in cryptocurrency to make huge profits from our investments. We contacted a broker online who was pretending to be an account manager for a forex trading firm, we invested a huge part of our retirement savings and business money into this platform not realizing it was all a scam to steal away our money. After weeks of trying to withdraw, this broker continued to request more money until we were broke and in debt, it felt as if we are losing our life. Fortunately for us, we saw an article about Donald George Wizard, we were not in a hurry to contact them but we did some research about their services and found out they could help us recover our money from these scammers, we contacted Donald George Wizard and in a space of 72 hours, Spyweb was able to recover everything, this company did a thorough investigation with the information we provided them and ensured that every penny was returned to us, it felt so unreal how they were able to recover everything we have lost. We are truly grateful for the help of Donald George Wizard and we are putting this out there to everyone who needs their services.

  • Fraudsters come in various shapes and tactics, but their goal is to rip you off your hard-earned funds. My first error was investing my time and my crypto assets into something I am not knowledgeable about, thinking I would increase my income. I am a victim of an investment Crypto scam and lost $1,109,530 in digital assets. Realizing my errors, I decided to stay off the internet for some time. I was off the internet for a while, trying to report the fraud to legal authorities and to clear my mind, and luckily for me, when I came back, I came across an article on how to trace and recover crypto sent to scammers or the wrong wallet. The article was talking about DUNE NECTAR WEB EXPERT. After reaching out to them, DUNE NECTAR WEB EXPERT and his team were able to retrieve all of my scammed digital assets within a short period. Despite the fears going through my mind, I was certain of the outcome from this fund expert. When it comes to Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, and other digital asset recovery, DUNE NECTAR WEB EXPERT stands out among all of them. They are the most talked-about digital asset recovery team on the internet. You should send an email to them if you encounter a similar circumstance or need cybersecurity protection.
