Many Thanks from Traveling Tattoo Museum in 2025 and Here's to the Schedule for 2026

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has participated in, supported, and believed in the Traveling Tattoo Museum Project. What began as a shared vision to preserve and present tattoo history, has grown into a living, moving exhibition—powered by artists, collectors, historians, volunteers, and supporters who show up with passion, generosity, and heart. Each stop on this tour strengthens our mission to honor tattooing’s past while inspiring its future, and we are profoundly thankful to be on this journey together.

very special thank you to the incredible artists who have come out to tattoo, share stories, loan artifacts, and engage with the public. Your willingness to give your time, talent, and knowledge is what makes this project meaningful and alive. This museum exists because of you—your hands, your histories, and your commitment to the culture.

And we’re already looking ahead to 2026, with even more cities, expanded exhibits, new stories, and deeper opportunities for engagement. We’re excited to continue the tour and invite everyone to join us at our upcoming 2026 dates:

Philadelphia – January 23–25
San Diego – February 13–15
Chicago – March 20–22
Baltimore – April 24–26
Denver – June 5–7
Long Beach – July 10–12
Houston – July 24–26
Meadowlands – September 4–6
Milwaukee – October 9–11
San Antonio – November 13–15

If you’re interested in volunteering, tattooing with the exhibit, contributing ideas, or getting involved in future tour stops, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at Michele@tattooheritageproject.org — this project grows stronger through collaboration.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our angel donors, Dani Nabors and Tim Nabors, and to our founding project partner Villain Arts. Your belief in this project and your ongoing support make this tour possible. Without you, the Traveling Tattoo Museum simply would not exist in its current form. Thank you for standing with us in preserving tattoo history and sharing it with communities across the country.

With much gratitude, Lucky, Michele and Chuey
